Another great month has come and gone and a busy one at that, we have a lot of our Chapter family on vacation and
I do hope they will send us articles of what they are doing, where they are and maybe some pictures. We love to hear
from you all, and maybe our snowbirds will write to us too.
Some of our Chapter family wanted a CPR class, you asked for it and Butch and Kathy P. came through with a class. They got a hold of Rex and Tina P. right away, set up a class for June 13 and had a great turn out, a full class. I personality was very impressed with TRex, they did a wonderful job, the class was very relaxed, learned a lot and also had fun doing the exercise's. I know there are a lot of you folks that have taught CPR in the past, and they are the first to say things have changed for the better, and that the class was very educational and glad that they took the class. It just goes to prove your never to old to learn something new. Most of my TEAM (staff) took the class, I was so pleased to see all of you. Tina
took a few of our gentlemen to the side to help them, they couldn't get on the floor and with J.R. (he has COPD) he gets
short of breath very easy. We were taught the log roll, which I thought was very interesting. So folks, when the class is
offered again, please take the course, you just may learn something new, and you will have fun doing it too.
By any chance did you folks see the paper that had the Heimann family picture and article in it. The Heimann's are
our host at the B&W. The whole family was chosen to do the "Harry Potter" commercial, how exciting and a great
adventure for them. Congratulations to the whole family.

As most of you know Ken, Jackie and myself went to the Officer Certification Program in May and I would like to touch
on membership. There is a Individual Membership- you must own a Goldwing or Valkyrie- Family Membership- you must have a Goldwing or Valkyrie and covers two or more people living in the same household. Associate Individual - are owners of other brands, and did you know you don't even have to own a motorcycle to belong.
I want to thank everyone that showed up to go to Dunnellon to try and capture the Region A wanderer on Saturday
June 19, Chapter M, Clearwater came home with it and they will give it away June 26. I heard that they had a great turn out, I couldn't go, work you know, bummer. We heard a lot of Goldwings go by (they honked) I even had a phone call
from the gathering, wanted to know why I wasn't there (they knew were to call, didn't they) It's nice to be missed though.
Last month on a Saturday, that we didn't have a ride, J.R. and I went to Plant City to their Bike Fest (and you know
there isn't to many Goldwings , mostly the other brand). J.R. wanted me to put my trike in the bike show, so I did. It had rained on the way to Plant City, so it wasn't the cleanest, and guess what, I got first place with the trikes. They waited
until last to give out the trike trophies. The M C said "Will Rachel please come up front", then he ask me "how I felt
winning out over all the boys", and I said, "it felt g-o-o-d".

Same as above and covers two or more people living in the same household.
If you are selling your Motorcycle, you may transfer your membership. I bet
you did not know that one.....

The Goldwing tickets are in and ready to sell. I'm hoping every couple in our Chapter will buy at least one book (10
tickets). Selling these tickets gives each GWRRA member in Florida free classes for CPR, TRC, OCP, etc., so each one of
you folks benefits if you so desire. We have extra tickets this year, so we need to get out and sell them, don't wait for other people to do it, you CAN do it. We are family and your doing it for yourself and our family. Some of us that took CPR and gave our checks to Butch for class, said keep the check for goldwing tickets, so some of us have all ready bought some tickets, it's a beginning. This was Rich Broekers idea, thanks Rich.
